'Ad Lucem' is Latin for to the light.

'Doula' is a Greek word for servant or helper. Like a birth doula supports Mothers during the birthing process, a death doula supports the Dying and/or their loved ones with the process of passing.

​

The dying process can span weeks, months or even years. It not only impacts the person who is facing this transition, but it also impacts family, friends and loved ones.

​

Planning the end of life process with support is an opportunity for the Dying and their loved ones to obtain the care they wish to receive. Having continued support after the end of life allows us to move through our experiences within loss with more ease and spaciousness.

 

I desire to assist those who are making this life transition, to support them and their loved ones in

the most loving and compassionate ways possible as they return to the light.
